Guest Lecture on ‘Facing career challenges by improving personal Brand Equity’by Mr. Sachin Itkar was held on 24- Jan-2011 at S.B. Patil Institute of Management. Mr. Sachin Itkar is the “General Manager of Bill Care. He is a recipient of ‘Young achievers Award’ instituted by University of Pune (Management Department).
The objective of this lecture was to make the students aware of the competitive nature of the corporate world and how to make a distinguished place for themselves in such competition.
The purpose of life is a life of purpose.
He gave a broad view of the challenges faced due to globalization and cut throat competition. He stressed on the fact that to overcome the challenges - qualification is not enough, qualities are also important. He showed the importance of goal setting, right attitude and behavior by giving excellent examples.
The session ended by the following quote:
“There are two choices in life, to accept conditions as they exist or accept the responsibility for changing them.”
