Career in Finance

A guest lecture on ‘Career in Finance’ was conducted by Mr. Pramod Jain on 2nd Feb 2010, at SBPIM. He is a Charted Accountant, Corporate Trainer, Executive Coach and Corporate Advisor.
The objective of the lecture was to show students regarding the various career options in the Finance specialization so that they can start a career of their choice.He also discussed about the various roles to be played in the various organizations after MBA in Finance, the prospective employees, expectations of the Industries and the future of Finance Management. He stressed on the fact that strategy building & implementation, business control, resource mobilizing, competitive edge provisions & wealth maximizations are the expectations of the Industries and students should try to improve their competencies in these areas.
He finally quoted,
“Your future is very rosy and bright, but not without challenges!”
The session was interactive and all the students were quite convinced by the end of the session.
