Guest Lecture on Career in Marketing was conducted by Prof D K Sakore on 3rd February 2011 at S.B.Patil Institute of Management. He is a post graduate from IIM-Ahmedabad and has 15 years of work experience in the corporate world, now he is a part of Indira Institute of Management.
He quoted,
“MARKETING IS THE PHILOSOPHY OF LIFE”
The session had a focus on types of business, choices in marketing, various sectors and scope of marketing. The key factor for marketing was physical and mental fitness stated by him. The mantra for success is KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ATTITUDE, which everyone should follow. Efficiency is needed more than proficiency in the competitive world to survive.
