MBA Students should become Entrepreneurs

October 17, 2011: Pimpri-Chinchwad Education Trust’s (PCET) SB Patil Institute of Management (SBPIM) had organized an inspiring session of eminent writer Dr. Achyut Godbole for MBA students of SBPIM and PCCOE. Dr. H.D. Thorat, Director, SBPIM welcomed him and introduced him to all faculty members and students of both the institutes. Dr. Godbole, speaking on “My journey with Management Philosophy”, stressed that MBA students should be reasonably good in technology, they should have command on English language, they should be good speakers, they should be persuasive and they should take up Entrepreneurship as their goals.
With regard to Management Philosophy Mr. Godbole stated that the philosophy works on three levels like Personal Management, Operational Management and Strategic Management. He motivated students by explaining all these three levels in a very simple manner with practical examples and experiences interfaced by him. All faculty members and more than 300 students were participated in the program. Prof. Sneha Alan anchored the program and Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar expressed vote of thanks.
