PCET's S. B. Patil Institute of Management had organised a week long Induction Program, RHYTHM-2022 for MBA I Year students, Batch 2022-24 from 22nd to 26th November 2022.
On 22nd November 2022, day 1, SBPIM was pleased to welcome the new batch of students and acquaint them with the Institute. Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar, Director, PCET's S. B. Patil Institute of Management gave away the Welcome address. Dr. Janhavi Inamdar, Director, PCET International Relations also graced the occasion. Industry Experts like Mr. Haider Alam, Managing Director & CEO SEIMITSU Factory Automation Pvt. Ltd., Dr. Ravindra Utgikar, Vice President-Corporate Strategy & Marketing- Praj Industries Ltd. were present as the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour respectively. Prof. Bharat Oswal, CII Young Indians Pune YUVA Chair. Mr. Ravindra Dolare, Business Unit Leader, President, Ecozen, CII YUVA were also present as speakers. They spoke about the current industry trends and how MBA students must prepare to be a part of the corporates.
On day 2, Mr. Soham Dadarkar, Facilitator, Soham Dadarkar Academy conducted a session on "Learning Management Concepts through Drama". Dr. Pranita Burbure introduced PCET's S. B. Patil Institute of Management and its pillars in the session, "Know Our Human Capital (SBPIM)". Dr. Anishkumar Karia, HoD Academics- SBPIM threw light on "Curriculum Structure & Teaching Learning Pedagogy". Senior-Junior Hand Holding - Ice Breaking & Management Games were conducted by the MBA-II Year Students - Mr. Gaurav Patil, Ms. Triksha Hulagabali, Ms. Kavyashri Patil, Mr. Sahil Shrivastav and Ms. Sameedha.
Expert Panel Discussion was organized on day 3. Expert Panelists for the Panel Discussion on "Career Opportunities and Industry expectations from MBA Students" were Mr. Sachin Phutane, Founder- Life Sadhana, Mr. Ajit Chigteri - Proposals Operations management Emerson Automation, Mrs. Madhuri Dandekar- Chartered Accountant, Mr. Sachin Supekar, Founder and Director -Samarpak Management Solutions and Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar- Director, SBPIM. Dr. Pranita Burbure Moderated the Panel Discussion along with Mr. Viniket More and Ms. Jyoti Sharma, MBA II year students. The Panel touched upon the nuances of a great corporate career, a successful kick start to students' corporate journey, Industry 4.0, the importance of Big Data analytics and the effective use of data for research analysis and predictions. In the second half, Ms. Shruti Channagiri, Head- Language Trainings, Hirameki Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. spoke on "Career Benefits of Learning Foreign Language". Dr. Amarish Padma introduced the committees during his session "Curtain Raiser to SBPIM Committees and Student Council Introduction". Dr. Shitalkumar Rawandale, Dean Placements PCET - Nutan, and President Maharashtra Association of TPOs (MaTPO) threw light on "SBPIM Placement Department & Career Opportunities after MBA"
Day 4 began with the Alumni Interaction in the session "Dreams, Hard work, Determination & Success - My MBA Journey". Mr. Ajay Bairagi, Mr. Hemant Rajesth, Ms. Sejal Darade, Ms. Preeti Prabhakaran, Mr. Sushant Tathwadkar, Mr. Subodh Dhende were the Alumni of SBPIM who guided the MBA 1st year batch regarding how academic and co-curricular activities are important for overall development for fetching better jobs. Dr. Iram Ansari and Dr. Kajal Maheshwari moderated the Panel Discussion. In the 2nd session, Mr. Raghvan Koli, Founder, Author and Motivational Speaker inspired the students while focusing on "Be the Leader of Your Own Self". Mrs. Swati Satpute oriented about the SBPIM Library during her session on "SBPIM Library-Introduction & Knowledge Centre”. Mr. Sushil Kalbhor focused on "Student Development & Welfare Schemes.”
On 26th November i.e. Day 5, Parent's Meet was organized. Parents of the MBA I year students were welcomed to get familiarized with the Institute and its processes. Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar, Director SBPIM, presided over the program along with Dr. Bhushan Pardeshi, HoD Research, Dr. Anishkumar Karia, HoD Academics and Mr. Swapnil Sonkamble, Training and Placement Officer, PCET's S. B. Patil Institute of Management. Parents were introduced about the Institute activities and the further plans for student development. Questions from Parents related to Academic and Professional growth of the new batch of MBA I year students were answered during this Meet. Meanwhile students were engaged by Mr. Milind Khedkar, Management Trainer, with a full day Outdoor Management Training program where he conducted several games and activities.

This extremely successful program was coordinated by Dr. Iram Ansari and Dr. Kajal Maheshwari alsong with faculty coordinators.
