The Training & Placement Cell operates on both fronts. As a part of Training, students are provided with professional industry-focused trainings to build them as “Entrepreneurs” & “Ready to use Employees” and are provided with best Placement opportunities as well.


In SBPIM, Training is an ongoing process for all students. They are continuously trained in-house on Self-Image, Soft-skills, Employability and Self-development. With the help of Industrial professional trainers, various workshops and tailor-made training programs are conducted for students to enable them to understand the exact requirement of the corporate with regard to MBA students. Students are also subjected to free-discussions and interactions with eminent personalities from industry as a part of Corporate to Campus (C2C) program… this direct interface presents opportunities for students to understand the practicalities of industry and clarifies how Management principles fit in business.


Besides Internal and External rigorous trainings the Grading tests are also conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of trainings provided to students. The grading tests are conducted by the faculty members in conjunction with experts from Industry by subjecting all students to appear for ‘Group Discussions’ and Personal Interviews’. This process helps in understanding the level achieved by individual student in terms of Attitude, Knowledge and Skills. The Training & Placement Cell is headed by Prof. Vinay P Chandratre supported by two Training & Placement Officers Prof. Swapnil Sonkamble and Prof. Amol Raut. We are confident that students of SBPIM stand as the best choice for industries.
