HR Conclave - Stucon 2024

Landmark HR Conclave at SBPIM Empowers 900 Future Leaders

PCET’s S.B. Patil Institute of Management, in collaboration with NIPM Pune Chapter, hosted a successful Student HR Conference on 19th October 2024 around the theme "Resilience to Reinvention." The event brought together over 900 students, industry professionals, and academicians, providing deep insights into the evolving landscape of Human Resource Management.

Keynote speakers and dignitaries included Ms. Rujuta Jagtap (SAJ Test Plant Pvt. Ltd.), Dr. Vikas Prasad (Webasto India), Mr. Vishwesh Kulkarni (Yashaswi Group), and Mr. Parag Kalakar (Pro VC, SPPU). The conference was convened by Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar, with active support from Mr. Kalyan Pawar, Dr. Satish Pawar, Ms. Wahida Pathan, and Mr. Pawan Sharma.

Highlights:

• Panel Discussion 1: "The Role of Education in Reinvention" featured Vice Chancellors from top universities like Dr. B.B Ahuja, Vice Chancellor JSPM, Dr. Manimala Puri, Vice Chancellor, Pimpri Chinchwad University, Dr. Prabhat Ranjan, Vice Chancellor D.Y.Patil International University Dr. Sunil Bhirude, Vice Chancellor, COEP Technological University, Dr. Sanjay Zope, Director, DMC Finishing School Pvt.Ltd, emphasizing curriculum evolution and educational resilience.
• Panel Discussion 2: "Organizational Resilience – Agile Leadership and Adaptability", led by senior HR leaders from KSPG Automotive, Amdocs, and Walchandnagar Industries, explored leadership’s role in driving transformation., Mr. Vikram Mhaske, CHRO/ Executive Director KSPG Automotive India Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Shantanu Ghosal, President, Organization Development Walchandnagar Industries Limited, Mr. Ravinder Pal Singh, Director- Software Engineering Amdocs., Dr. Ravindra Utgikar, Non Executive Director, COEP’s Bhau Institute of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Leadership, Mr. Ajit Thakur, Head HR and EHS, Saarioha Advanced Material (Kalyani Group) graced the event
• Panel Discussion 3: "Building Resilience Through Adversity", an all-women panel, highlighted the role of women leaders in strengthening organizational resilience. Ms Kavita Kalikar Head of HR, Admin & LR, John Deere, Ms. Shruuti Poojari HR, Riveron Ms. Deepali Kairnar Head HR IAC group, Ms Wahida Pathan Moderated the session where the major focus women leadership in resilience in organization

Core themes discussed included:

• Building resilient workplace cultures
• Agility and innovation in HR practices
• Tech-driven transformation
• Mental health and well-being
• Change-ready leadership

The event also featured a special appearance by actor-director Mr. Abhyang Kuvalekar promoting his film "Gulaabi" and concluded with a vibrant musical performance by Mr. Kamruddin and Ms. Dristi Balani.

National Institute of Personnel Management, Pune Chapter in association with S.B. Patil Institute of Management organized HR Conclave 2024 on the theme DIVERSITY HARMONY-Crafting an Inclusive Future on 30th March 2024. The Conclave witnessed NIPM members and Panelist who came together to explore the significance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace.
