An Industry Institute Partnership programme was conducted jointly by S.B.Patil Institute of management and ODSER Charitable trust. The programme started with the importance and introduction of having an HR meet for the students. The programme inauguration began by the lamp lighting ceremony by Dr.Jayashree Fadnavis, Dr,Daniel Penkar, Dr.Prem Sethi, Mrs. Sharada Sethi and Mr.Sashikant Kurbetti. The Chief guest for the function was Dr.Jayashree Fadnavis.
Dr.Daniel Penkar started by welcoming all the guests and stressing on the importance of having an Industry Institute Interface and how it can become a platform for students to interact with people from the industry and gain firsthand experience form what inputs the professionals have to give. Dr.Prem Sethi, President of ODSER Charitable trust was invited over to introduce ODSER and comment on the joint work being done by ODSER and S.B.Patil Institute of management. Sethi sir also spoke about the importance of Artificial Intelligence in today’s world and how it should be adopted in today’s day to day corporate activities.
The Chief Guest Dr.Jayashree Fadnavis was introduced and then felicitated by Dr.Daniel Penkar and Dr.Prem Sethi. A memento was presented to her as a token of appreciation and gratitude for her presence. Jayashree madam spoke about how soft skills and a combination of good people skills and knowledge will help students to perform better in the corporate world.
The Dignitaries on the HR panel were Dr.Jayashree Fadnavis, Dr.Mohan Uchgaonkar, Dr.Girish Bakshi, Mr.Prempal Singh, Mr. Sahikant Kurbetti, Dr.Daniel Penkar, Dr.Prem Sethi. The students of both First year and Second year asked a lot of questions to the panel. Each question was answered in a very professional manner by the Panel. The questions and confidence of the students was appreciated a lot by the panel. The students were very happy and satisfied with the way the discussion went on and their doubts were cleared. Mrs.Sumeira Chandok handled the Q & A Session for the afternoon.
The Certificates of POSH was also distributed at the hands of Dr.Jayashree Fadnavis and Mrs.Sharada Sethi for all the faculty members.
The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mrs.Sumeira Chandok, Member, ODSER Charitable Trust. The event was a grand success.
