MBA PROGRAMME

The MBA programme prepares students for a career in diverse sectors of the industry domestically and globally. The MBA programme facilitates learning in theory and practice of different functional areas of management and equips the students with an integrated approach to various functions of management. However, the demand for managerial skills is not limited to the industry. Managerial talent is much sought by the Government Sector, NGOs, non-corporate sector as well. Students also expect to become entrepreneurs. Their aspirations also require a broad based learning encompassing the end to end processes involved in developing entrepreneurial skills. Institutes, Faculty and Students need to move away from the excessive focus on industry and look at needs and demands of broader sections of the society also.

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)

PEO-1 Graduates of the MBA program will successfully integrate core, cross functional and interdisciplinary aspects of management theories, models and frameworks with the real-world practices and the sector specific nuances to provide solutions to real world business, policy and social issues in a dynamic and complex world.
PEO-2 Graduates of the MBA program will possess excellent communication skills, excel incross-functional, multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams, and have an appreciation for local, domestic and global contexts so as to manage continuity, change, risk, ambiguity and complexity
PEO-3 Graduates of the MBA program will be appreciative of the significance of Indian ethos and values in managerial decision making and exhibit value centered leadership
PEO-4 Graduates of the MBA program will be ready to engage in successful career pursuits covering a broad spectrum of areas in corporate, non-profit organizations, public policy,entrepreneurial ventures and engage in life-long learning.
PEO-5 Graduates of the MBA program will be recognized in their chosen fields for their managerial competence, creativity & innovation, integrity & sensitivity to local and global issues of social relevance and earn the trust & respect of others as inspiring, effective and ethical leaders, managers, entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and change agents.

A] MARKETING MANAGEMENT (MKT)
PSO MKT 1 Enable Students to analyse marketing opportunities and consumer behaviour to formulate, implement, and evaluate long term customer value for effective marketing strategies across diverse sectors.
PSO MKT 2 Equip students with strategic marketing and customer centric skills by developing competencies in integrated marketing communication, retail, rural, global, financial services, and sustainable ethical marketing fostering skills to lead marketing functions, drive innovation and contribute to value creation in diverse sectors or through entrepreneurial ventures.
B] FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (FM)
PSO FIN1 Students will develop analytical and strategic abilities to interpret financial data, manage investments and risk, design effective financial plans, and support informed decisions.
PSO FIN2 Students will develop an ability to apply financial tools and technologies, understand financial markets, and adhere to ethical standards in financial management and corporate governance.
C] HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (HRM)
PSO HRM1 Students will be equipped with HR knowledge and skills to strategically manage people, processes and performance to enhance organizational effectiveness.
PSO HRM2 Students will demonstrate the ability to effectively apply human resource functions and practices, make data-driven decisions to align with organizational objectives, enhance workforce agility and drive overall business performance.
D] OPERATIONS AND SUPPLY MANAGEMENT (OSCM)
PSO OSCM1 Equip students with strategic and operational skills to manage end-to-end operations, supply chains, and services. Enhance analytical thinking and innovation using lean management, analytics, and Industry 4.0 tools. Promote sustainable, resilient, and digitally driven operations for global business success.
PSO OSCM2 Enable students to design, manage, and optimize end-to-end operations and supply chain systems by integrating concepts from procurement, logistics, inventory management, quality standards, and digital technologies, fostering efficiency, sustainability, and resilience.
E] BUSINESS ANALYTICS (BA)
PSO BA1 Students will be able to leverage analytical tools and softwares for enabling effective communication through dashboards and reports.
PSO BA2 Students will be able to apply analytical & Critical thinking to solve functional business problems and integrate data insights into strategic decision-making for organizational growth and competitive advantage.
