PCET's SBPIM is organized YUVOTSAV 2023 an intercollegiate sports competition from April 27-29, 2023 having sports Football, Box Cricket (Boys & Girls) and Table Tennis. Inauguration ceremony of an intercollegiate sports competition 𝒀𝑼𝑽𝑶𝑻𝑺𝑨𝑽 2023 having 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐁𝐨𝐱 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 (𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐬 & 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐱 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 where more than 90 teams are participating across Maharashtra was organized at PCET’s S.B. Patil Institute of Management on April 27-29, 2023.
Mr. Vitthal Joshi Deputy Commissioner, PCMC was invited as chief guest of the programme inaugurated the sports fest in the presence of revered Mr. Raju Mujawar former Vice president Maharashtra Handicap Team coach, guest of honor of the event, Mr. Binish Surendran Project Manager PCMC Smart City, Mr. Soyam Aswar, Public Relations Officer PCMC Smart City, Mr. Justin Mathew, Engagement Manager Pimpri Chinchwad Smart City and Mr. Santosh Pacharne, Physical Director, PCCOE.
Mr. Vitthal Joshi, Deputy Commissioner, PCMC in his speech guided students to focus more on playing various sports. He emphasized the benefits of playing sports, how it helps to stay fit both mentally and physically. Sir has also underlined the need to make the country a sports power.
Mr. Raju Mujawar former Vice president Maharashtra Handicap Team coach gave examples of his life experiences. He put light on his journey how much hard work and struggle it took for him to reach the position he is in. He asked the management students to take up the initiative to visit a few educational institutions in the backward region and support and encourage them in whatever way possible. He said talent is attained from practice and not by birth.
Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar, Director SBPIM gave a welcome address to all the participants and felicitated all the guests.
