Objectives: The alumni meet aimed to reconnect graduates and celebrate the institute while also providing a platform for sharing career insights and fostering community engagement.
Outcome: The event successfully reconnected alumni and fostered a stronger community while also providing valuable career insights and celebrating the institute's legacy.
Brief Report: -
The 12th Alumni Meet of S. B. Patil Institute of Management took place on 22nd February 2025, uniting alumni, faculty, and students for a day of reflection, networking, and celebration.
The event commenced with the formal arrival and registration of alumni, followed by an inspiring session where alumni shared their success stories. During the alumni panel discussion, valuable advice was shared, emphasizing the importance of believing in one's abilities, maintaining a healthy work-life balance, managing time effectively, being proactive, building strong professional networks, and much more.
The event featured with a motivational success story by the esteemed Alumni Harshal Borse and Priti Prabhakaran, followed by an insightful alumni panel discussion, where distinguished alumni Piyush Chawda, Tushar Chinchole, Aditya Chikane, Ajay Bairagi, Pratik Naik, Mayur Nilangekar shared their success stories and provided valuable advice on:
A warm welcome ceremony featured a lamp-lighting ritual, with Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar, Director of SBPIM, addressing the attendees. Dr. Kirti Ma’am also She also felicitated the SBPIM’s Alumni Association President- Akash Raut, Secretory-Hemant Rajesth, Treasurer- Dr. Anishkumar Karia, Faculty coordinator –Dr. Swapnil Sonkamble appreciating their continued dedication to strengthening the SBPIM community.
Alumni & Hon. Director Madam released the 1st edition of Alumni Newsletter- SBPIM PINNACLE”. During the release madam thanked all the alumni for their wholehearted support to the alma matter and their also said that their inputs, experience sharing will be guidelines for the young minds and the for the institute for creating the future ready global citizens.
Dr. Amrish Padma presented a video capturing SBPIM’s cherished memories. The event then featured an engaging recreational activity. Additionally, a session of shaayari and a jamming session of music (Singing) provided further entertainment, encouraging alumni and students to participate in creative expressions.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Anishkumar Karia, Treasurer of the Alumni Association, followed by a networking dinner that allowed alumni to reconnect and celebrate the institute's legacy.

Brief Report SBPIM’s Alumni Meet 2024 “Convergence 2024”
The 11th Alumni Meet was organized by PCET's S.B. Patil Institute of Management on Saturday, 24th February 2024, as part of its annual tradition of reconnecting with alumni and celebrating their successes, achievements and coordinate alumni activities while strengthening the bond between the institution and its alumni.
The alumni began arriving at the college by 6:00 p.m., where they were warmly welcomed by the enthusiastic registration team.
The program was energetically hosted by the anchors, Arpan Loya, along with the enthusiastic MBA 1st-year student volunteers. A total of 123 alumni from SBPIM attended the event, making it a grand success
The welcome address was delivered by the Director of the institution, Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar, who warmly greeted the alumni. In her speech, she highlighted the expectations from the alumni and encouraged them to support the students in various meaningful ways. Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar felicitated all the office bearers of the Alumni Association during the event.

Mr. Hemant Rajesth, Secretary of the SBPIM Alumni Association, emphasized the importance of fostering strong connections between alumni and their alma mater. He assured that he, along with the alumni network, would be readily available to support the college in any capacity needed.
Ms. Trushna Devgadkar, Joint Secretary of the SBPIM Alumni Association, expressed her heartfelt commitment to supporting MBA students in their journey of growth and development. She also extended her gratitude to her alma mater, the Director, and the faculty members for their invaluable guidance and support, which played a significant role in her success.
Following this, a nostalgic video showcasing cherished memories of SBPIM's ex-students was played during the event. The video was thoughtfully created by the first-year MBA students under the guidance of Dr. Amrish Padma and Dr. Sanjay Gaikwad. The screening was followed by a captivating cultural performance by the MBA first-year students, adding vibrancy and energy to the evening.
The networking activity at the SBPIM Alumni Meet provided an excellent platform for alumni to engage with budding managers. During this session, alumni shared valuable insights about career planning and emphasized the importance of college education in shaping a successful future. They offered practical advice on navigating different career paths and highlighted how the knowledge and skills gained during college play a pivotal role in professional success. All the alumni expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards their alma mater.
Dr. Anish Karia, Treasurer of the Alumni Association, thanked everyone for their presence and conveyed his sincere appreciation for their continued support and involvement.

The Alumni Meet is conducted every year in order to reconnect with alumni and celebrate their success and various achievements. PCET's S.B. Patil Institute Of Management has organized the 10th Alumni Meet a programme to facilitate, consolidate and coordinate Alumni Activities on Saturday 15th April 2023.
The Alumni started arriving in college by 6.00 p.m. and they were received by the registration team.
The event started at 6PM with great enthusiasm. Total 121 SBPIM alumni attended the event. The anchors Aryan Gangotri and Riza Ahmed first year students hosted the event in an enthusiastic way. Welcome address was given by Director of institution Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar . She welcomed the alumni and then she talked expectations from alumni and also urge to support students in whichever ways they can
After that new alumni association was declared by Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar and felicitation of all the office bearers were done by madam. .Following were the nominated members of alumni association.
Mr. Akash Raut new president assured that they will be ready to associate with the college for any type of help which is needed from his side as an alumnus.
After that video of SBPIM memories of Ex-students was played in the event which was created by first year students and guided by Dr. Amrish Padma and Dr. Sanjay Gaikwad. That was followed by beautiful dance performance by MBA 1st year students.
The fun activity was also included in between to cheer and bring the smile on faces of audience. Funny question answers, one minute introduction, couple round were highlights of the event. Mr. Sahil Srivastav and Ms. Sakshi Kate second year students hosted the fun activity. Alumni Mr. Mayur performed the dance on behalf of all the alumnus.
The Alumni gathered at SBPIM Alumni meet helped the new managers understand about careers and why college studies matter. They shared advice on how to plan their careers and explained why paying attention to studies in college is important. They talked about the different paths in the working world and how the things they learn in college can help them succeed in their future jobs. The SBPIM Alumni encouraged the budding managers to take their studies seriously because it lays the foundation for a successful career ahead.
All the Alumni express their gratitude towards the Almamatter. Dr. Anish Karia treasurer thanked all the alumni for being present and expressed sincere gratefulness. Alumni were so engrossed and touched and also became part of the of the celebration by dancing and performing at the event.
The Alumni meet was coordinated by Placement Officer Mr. Swapnil Sonkamble and all the faculty and staff members were present for the meet.
PCET's S.B. Patil Institute Of Management has organized the Alumni Meet on 26.06.20 (Saturday). The “Convergence 2021” Alumni meet was unique because of its nature - an online/ virtual event where the Ex-students of SBPIM were invited to relive all their old memories also sharing their experience in college with their friends and faculties.
The event started at 3PM with great enthusiasm. Total 152 people joined the event. The speaker of event Sanket Kumbhar started the event in an enthusiastic way. After that theevent started where all the big personalities of institution were introduced by the students volunteer Sanket Kumbhar.
Later director of institution Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar Ma’am addressed the audience of event. Madam welcomed the audience and then she talked about importance of communication, relationship between alumni and institute. Madam also said as per our tradition we conduct the physical meet on SBPIM campus every year in the February and March month, but due to COVID 19 pandemic and also considering restrictions, guidelines, safety post Pandemic we plan to conduct the meet online. Many of the alumni requested to conduct physical meet in near future, madam accepted this request and assure them about arranging the in physical mode one all is back to normal.
Later Mr. Shyam Shelke who is the alumni secretary of SBPIM addressed the audience with his speech, he said every year the Alumni eager to meet for such gathering to meet and greet their friends, faculties, He also suggested that we should conduct one online meet and one offline each year.
After that one video of SBPIM memories of Ex-students was played in the event which was created by Dr. Amrish Padma Sir.
After that the main event was started with beautiful Ganesh Vandana dance performance which was performed by Rutuja Adsul of MBA 1st year Marketing.
Later the event was handled by the main hosts of the event Kshitij Kulkarni MBA 1st year Operations and Shivprasad Jadhav of MBA 1st year Marketing. The fun part was started between both the event hosts to cheer and bring the smiling faces in event of audience.
After the funny conversation between both the hosts, some super seniors shared their experiences and old memories which they had in college during their times.
Many Alumni they express their gratitude towards the Almamatter. To name the few Ms. Isha Bhatia- SBPIM Alumni President, Prerana Anand, Jinendra Tapkira, Yashswita Patil, Mayur Niangekar, Kojagiri More, Ranu Rajpurohit, Pravin Zambare, Priti Prabhkaran, Abhijeet Sabale, Somesh Tamchikar, Prithvij Nene, Abasaheb Kamble, Harshal Kamble, Manju Saundarya, Hemant Rajeth, Akshay Disale, Kunal Bhegade, Ninad Shinde and many more.
After that again some funny conversation took place between the hosts. Then beautiful song was sung by Manasi Aradhye of MBA 1st year Finance.
Then again the fun part began between the two hosts and then funny video presented by Shivprasad Jadhav of MBA 1st year Marketing was played indicating the college life of students in online lectures. After the funny video again some fun part started between the hosts and then for some entertainment a mood changing rap video was presented by Shweta Kulkarni MBA 1st year HRM.
After the rap, Yadnesh Garud MBA 1st year Marketing conducted the games for super seniors for entertainment where the super seniors had to tell their experiences by looking at different locations of college premises itself. After the successful conduction of game, The Skit representing college life was beautifully presented by volunteers about conversation between the specializations written by Kshitij Kulkarni MBA 1st year Operations and presented by Yadnesh Garud MBA 1styear Marketing, Dnyaneshwar Khairnar MBA 1st year Marketing, Kshitij Mane MBA 1st year HRM, Mayank Kharwade MBA 1st year Finance and Kshitij Kulkarni MBA 1st year Operations) was presented in very funny way.
Alumni were so engrossed and touched and also became part of the of the celebration by dancing and performing at the event.
After all the performances, Dr. Anish Karia Sir addressed the audience and ended their speech and event with the final Vote of Thanks.
And at last a small beautiful memorable video of SBPIM family created by Ragini Ubhalkar of MBA 1st year Finance was played and the event comes to an end.
Total 152 Alumni were present online across the globe and grace the occasion.
In this way, the CONVERGENCE 2021 Alumni meet event was concluded successfully.

The Alumni Meet is conducted every year in order to reconnect with alumni and celebrate their success and various achievements.
The alumni started arriving in college by 9.00 a.m. and they were received by the registration team and were taken to the auditorium. The alumni meet started by introduction to various college memories. Director I/C Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar madam talked about importance of communication, relationship between alumni and institute via their video, which has been recorded for us by sir.
To start the occasion, felicitation of Shyam Shelke Sir and Dr. Anish Karia was done by Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar. Dr. Shantanu Pendse and Dr. Manoj Gadre were also felicitated.
Then Harshal Kambale MBA I year student sang "Tera Yaar Hoon Mai" song and everyone was touched by that song. Everyone enjoyed and cheered for him. Fashion Show (theme: Vampires) was done by 1st year MBA students. Various dance performance solo and in group was presented very enthusiastically by MBA 1st year and 2nd year students. Alumni were so engrossed and touched and also became part of the of the celebration by dancing and performing at the event.
Some alumni shared their college memories with everyone. The Skit representing college life was beautifully presented by our beloved teachers Dr. Iram Ansari, Dr. Anish Karia and Dr. Amarish Padma. For this act they got standing ovation by everyone. Then a small video containing memories of every batch was played. The video was really beautiful and sensitive.
Alumni shared their corporate and business world experiences with the faculty members and gave inputs for the curriculum development, recent trends in the corporate world. Alumni also interacted with the budding managers and guided them about their corporate journey, they also shared their contact numbers during networking dinner for the future mentoring.
At the end Dr. Anishkumar Karia proposed the vote of thanks followed by lunch.
Total 106 Alumni were present and grace the occasion.
In such a way this Alumni Meet 2020 was conducted gracefully at SBPIM.
7th Alumni meet “Convergence 2019” was organized at S.B. Patil Institute of Management on 9th March 2019, 5.30 pm onwards.
Dr. Daniel Penkar, Director SBPIM in his welcome speech, appreciated the presence of all the alumni present for the meet. Appreciation and recognition is the culture at SBPIM, to mark this felicitation of Mr. Shyam Shelke Secretary of Alumni Association of SBPIM, Ms. Isha Bhatia president Alumni Association, and Prof. Anishkumar Karia, Treasurer Alumni Association of SBPIM took place by the hands of Dr. Daniel Penkar.

Dr. Daniel Penkar appreciated the fact that inspite of busy schedule of the alumni they came in big number. He said every alumni meet makes him feel overwhelmed with the response increasing every time. He expressed a sincere acknowledgment towards the alumni for the constant contribution to institute during various activities like: alumni sharing experience with the students and engaging sessions with them, ISR (Institute Social Responsibility) activities, celebration of Shiv Jayanti and Yuvotsav. He also appealed to the alumni that they can actively contribute towards the institute by timely updating the institute, faculty members with the latest trends in the industry, which will help the current students to be abreast with the newest developments in industries.
Dr. Daniel Penkar, cheerfully addressing the eager alumni crowd of SBPIM.Ms. Isha Bhatiya Rawal also appealed to the all the alumni to be active in the alumni association and contribute towards the institute.
As a part of entertainment to the alumni, the first year MBA students performed various entertainment acts. Dance performances, solo singing and rap singing was much appreciated in by the alumni.
The Alumni meet witnessed an overwhelming response of the ex-students from the last 7 years, who came in huge numbers and was very happy to attend the program. The current batch students also interacted with the alumni, and discussed on issues like what corporate expects from freshers and also which specialization is to be chosen.

The program was followed by a networking dinner where the existing students, teachers and the staff interacted and shared their experiences and relived the amazing time spend by them at SBPIM.
During the networking dinner where the existing students, teachers and the staff interacted and shared their ideas and inputs for shaping the young MBA aspirants for the making them industry ready. Alumni also shared the inputs for making the current batch students ready for the internship, placements and entrepreneurship.
The event noticed the presence of 107 alumni for the meet, who promised to be actively involved in any development activities in the college for the students.
