An Institute Parent partnership program was organized at SBPIM on 26th January 2018. The breakfast was served for all the parents and guardians.
The formal program started 9.30 am at the seminar hall where Director Dr. Daniel Penkar gave a warm welcome speech for the parents. He spoke about the open culture at SBPIM where the all the teacher and even the director’s door is open for any discussion or suggestions. He mentioned about his lectures with the students which are totally focused for the Students overall personality development and grooming. Apart from the syllabus special lectures are arranged in order to enhance student’s presentation skills, vocabulary and language proficiency. Sir also made the parents aware about the special inputs given from the institute side to increase the student’s employability, sessions to develop group discussion and interview skills. To end the session sir shared with the parents the present placement scenario by enlisting the companies which came to the campus for recruitment and sharing the statics of the placements.
The next session was taken over by Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar, Head academics SBPIM. Madam gave a detailed list of the activities which are religiously carried out at the institute. A video, which was prepared by Prof. Anish Karia and Prof. Amrish Padma, about the activities carried at the institute, was shown to the parents.
The next session witnessed, some of the students of both MBA I and MBA II who came forward and shared their experience about the institute with the parents.
This was then followed with some parents expressing their views about the institute. Mr. Tathwadkar, father of a student of MBA I spoke about the developments he noticed in his son after he joined SBPIM. Also one guardian, brother of a student Pranjal shared his view about the various program and events organized at SBPIM, also one more parent Mr.Madan Pawar, father of a student Revati Pawar, spoke about why is he happy about his daughter joining SBPIM. The program ended with Dr. Hansraj Thorat proposing vote of thanks to all the parents.
